Hitachi-DTU Seminar on Behavioural Design: Applications to Healthcare

In response to various social and environmental issues such as low carbon emission, lifestyle-related diseases, the approach of design for behavioural change has recently gathered attention and is applied in developing services and technologies to facilitate desirable behaviour toward more environmentally friendly and healthier choices and lifestyles. Moreover, in designing as well as operating the services, we now expect to use information technologies for collecting and analyzing big data on human behaviour. However, since our behavioural changes are not easily realized just by targeting at individuals, we also need to promote cooperation among multiple stakeholders including service providers, their suppliers, and users’ families and communities in designing and delivering services.

This seminar invites designers, researchers, and providers of healthcare-related services to share knowledge and experiences of design for behavioural change in order to explore ideas for possible collaboration among various stakeholders for designing services and technologies to promote desirable behaviours.

Participation is free and open to all  – but registration required ( limited number of seats available):  http://www.conferencemanager.dk/Hitachi-DTU/
